MES reflects on a successful Paris Airshow

For everyone at Metrology Engineering Services, the International Paris Air Show is a massive highlight - providing a launchpad for partnerships, progress, and perspectives. Here at MES, we've taken a moment to reflect on a successful week that reminded us why we do what we do - reconnecting with valued partners and friends across the aerospace industry, sharing our capabilities in the MRO space, and championing the innovation we push for every day.

Following a packed schedule of meetings, events, and encounters among the maze of chalets and exhibition halls, we shared our thoughts with our network on LinkedIn:

“Metrology Engineering Services [MES] have taken time to reflect post International Paris Air Show as it can take time for the new and old connections made at the show to resurface after the intense week. For Metrology Engineering Services [MES] it was amazing to connect with our global customers both at our booth and also in the maze of chalets that we were invited to. Particular mention to the Wallonia Export & Investment Agency (AWEX) and La Région Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée teams for their hospitality. It was a privilege to witness the launch of TARMAC AEROSAVE new brand: TARMAC Legacy!

It was a special week for so many reason, the connections, the technology (Hexagon AB Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Jean-Noel LAGIER), the collaboration with the many aerospace working groups that work hard to position UK industry on a global map and of course the Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government and the Aerospace Wales Forum Ltd who are always out front and centre promoting Trade & Invest Wales.

Massive thank you and best wishes to Kelley Howlett who has been amazing during her time working with the Aerospace companies and thank you for the emotional trip back from your final day at the show!”

We stand by those sentiments - it’s clearer than ever that a real strength of aerospace isn’t just cutting-edge technology, but the people and organisations working together across borders to move the industry forward.

Special thanks again to our hosts at AWEX and La Région Occitanie, to the teams at Hexagon and the tireless UK aerospace working groups, and to the Welsh Government and Aerospace Wales Forum for their ongoing support.

As we reconnect with new contacts and build on the foundations laid at the show, MES remains focused on delivering metrology solutions that meet the complex challenges of tomorrow’s aerospace industry.
